We’re looking for a driven and commercially minded Business Development Manager to join our growing sales team at Wanstor. You’ll take the lead in winning new customers and creating new business opportunities, building relationships with senior decision-makers and helping organisations solve real business challenges through technology.
You’ll be selling across Wanstor’s portfolio of managed IT, cloud, cyber security, networking, modern workplace and AI solutions, working closely with our technical and presales teams to shape solutions that deliver genuine value. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves opening doors, building relationships and winning new business. You’ll have the freedom to develop opportunities, bring new ideas to customers and play a visible role in Wanstor’s continued growth.
What You’ll Do
- Identify and generate new business opportunities across our target markets.
- Build meaningful relationships with prospects and clients through consistent and proactive outreach.
- Deliver high-quality sales presentations and proposals that communicate the value of Wanstor’s solutions.
- Manage the full sales cycle—from initial contact and needs analysis through to deal closure.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to align solutions with customer needs.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Business Development teams on lead generation campaigns.
- Maintain accurate records in our CRM and ensure the sales pipeline is always up to date.
- Respond to RFIs, RFPs, and tenders with compelling and tailored responses.
- Contribute to revenue and margin growth by meeting or exceeding individual targets.
What You’ll Need
- Proven experience in business development or B2B sales within the IT or technology sector.
- A consultative approach with the ability to translate customer needs into IT solutions.
- Confidence and credibility when engaging with senior stakeholders, including C-suite.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify growth opportunities within accounts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills—both written and verbal.
- Comfortable working with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and tracking pipeline metrics.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously with strong time management.
