You do not need to be employed to undertake this course or you may be working in a suitable care setting and are ready to move to the next level to pursue a career in this rewarding sector. You are committed to your professional development.
What You Need to Know
There will be monthly online workshops and you must be able to complete self-study exercises between classroom assignments.
Qualification upon completion: Level 3 Certificate in Understanding the Principles of Dementia Care.
Once registered we will contact you to check your eligibility before starting the enrolment process. To be eligible for funding for this course, learners must:
- Be aged 19+
- Live in London
- Have not already achieved a L3 or above qualification. Please note if you earn under £27,007.50 you are eligible for funding even if you already have a L3 or above qualification
Please note if you are not eligible for funding we do provide a fee paying option for the course of £650.
All Ukrainian adults and their family members supported through the Ukraine Family Scheme and Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme are immediately eligible for FE 19+ funding and are exempt from the 3-year residency requirement as per the current AEB funding rules.
