Wandle are seeking a Senior Communications Officer to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. The Communications team are responsible for managing Wandle’s reputation, delivering high quality content and information across all available channels, and supporting the business to communicate clearly and effectively. The Senior Communications Officer will be responsible for the delivery of end to end communications campaigns, design and produce quality content demonstrating Wandle’s impact and managing the business requirements from key internal teams.

Key role responsibilities:

  • Work with the Senior PR and Communications Manager and the Communications team to deliver the Wandle communications strategy and plans, that help deliver our organisational goals.
  • Work with managers and colleagues across the business to promote and facilitate effective internal and external communications and engagement.
  • Develop and deliver integrated communications campaigns and content plans that make full use of available channels, including digital.

You:

  • Experience delivering communications in an agency or in-house team, ideally in the housing sector.
  • Experience developing, delivering and evaluating communications projects.
  • Experience using CMS, CRMs, design tools and social media tools.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • High level of copy writing and proof reading.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships.

This role will have an initial short telephone interview post shortlisting with the hiring manager, and then an in-person interview should you be progressed past the telephone interview stage.
