The Role

In this important role, you’ll take the lead in optimising their logistics operations and help bring new clients on board. You’ll collaborate across the business to ensure their processes are always improving and running smoothly, with a strong focus on delivering top-notch service at every step. Whether you’re developing strategies or guiding your team, the work you do will make a real difference to their success.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Growing the business: You’ll be on the lookout for new opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and helping them find the right logistics solutions to meet their needs.

  • Leading operations: You’ll focus on improving how things run day-to-day, making processes more efficient and cost-effective while ensuring quality remains high.

  • Team support: You’ll guide and develop a team of logistics coordinators, helping them do their best work and grow in their roles.

  • Client care: You’ll be the go-to person for key clients, making sure their needs are met and resolving any issues quickly and smoothly

We’re looking for someone with solid experience in logistics or supply chain management who enjoys the challenge of improving processes while helping the business grow. You’ll need to be a great communicator, have a talent for solving problems, and be confident in leading a team.

  • Experience in logistics or supply chain management

  • A proven ability to identify inefficiencies and implement effective solutions

  • Strong relationship-building skills to bring in new business and maintain client satisfaction

  • Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and guide a team

  • Excellent organisational skills to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment, * Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field

  • Proficiency in Category management and Business processes

  • Experience with Transportation and Warehouse management systems

  • Knowledge of ERP systems and AS400 would be beneficial

  • Strong data analysis skills

  • Previous experience in 3PL and Shipping & Receiving

  • Ability to lead and communicate effectively

  • Organisational skills to manage complex logistics operations, * Logistics: 4 years (preferred)
