We’re working with a well-established company in the gaming space that’s operating one of the most active UGC platforms online. They’re now looking for someone exceptional to help them scale safely, sensibly, and in a way that genuinely supports their global community.
This is a senior leadership role for someone who has already solved moderation at scale, ideally at platforms like Reddit, Discord, YouTube, or similar. You’ll take ownership of the entire moderation function: shaping policy, improving tooling, and supporting a team that’s dealing with the kind of messy, human complexity that comes with millions of users and vast volumes of content.
You’ll be responsible for setting the long-term strategy while making sure moderation remains grounded in both effectiveness and empathy. It’s a pivotal role that blends trust, safety, culture, and operational excellence - and it needs a steady hand.
What we’re looking for:
- Deep experience leading moderation or trust & safety at a UGC platform
- A strategic mindset with the ability to define policy and direction across teams
- A practical understanding of the tools and systems needed to scale moderation
- Experience working cross-functionally across product, engineering, legal, and community
- A deep appreciation for nuance, fairness and the challenges of digital citizenship at scale
- Bonus points if you’ve worked in or around gaming, but not essential
This is a rare opportunity to help shape the future of one of the internet’s most creative and loyal communities. If you're passionate about making platforms safer, smarter, and more human, we’d love to speak to you.
