We are looking to recruit a reliable, self‑motivated individual to work as a Caravan Cleaner/ Site Maintenance to join our internal cleaning team on a temporary basis. We would ideally be looking for a candidate for an immediate start. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning the exterior and interior of part‑exchange caravans for display on the forecourt or showroom and for cleaning customer caravans internally and externally prior to customer collection. You will have the responsibility to consistently deliver clean and well‑maintained caravans. Cleanliness is the first step to our company achieving high customer satisfaction and service. The successful candidate will also receive training in how to apply Diamondbrite application to the caravans, both internally and externally. This is a paint‑protection treatment which is applied to the outside of the caravan and to the upholstery and carpets inside, available as an optional extra for customers to purchase. Although previous experience in a similar cleaning‑based role would be advantageous, on‑the‑job training will be provided. The main criteria are a willingness to learn, reliability and a desire to provide excellent customer service through the cleanliness of the caravan.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Consistently delivering clean and well‑maintained caravans both for show in the showroom, on the forecourt, and for customer collections.
  • The expectation is for one individual to clean two caravans per day – one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
  • Exceed our customer expectations and assist in delivering high‑quality and clean caravans.
  • Follow company cleaning processes and procedures as per training, using the provided products.
  • Communicate effectively with all team members, including liaising with the workshop to ensure caravans are ready in time for customer dispatch.
  • The cleaning bay is located outside undercover; the successful candidate must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Move caravans around the site with other team members – placing them into the cleaning bay, moving them out onto the forecourt, into the showroom or into the dispatch area.
  • Caravans are moved manually, so the candidate must be willing to do so and be a team player.
  • Monitor stock levels of cleaning products, regularly checking availability and ordering when necessary, while ensuring no waste or over‑ordering.
  • Complete cleaning paperwork on each part‑exchange, customer caravan or Diamondbrite application. The employee will sign upon completion to confirm responsibility.
  • Carry out occasional maintenance tasks around the site, such as cleaning, gardening, keeping the site tidy, and removing motor movers from caravans.
  • Work well independently, managing time with limited supervision to complete weekly requirements.
  • May be offered occasional Saturday work during busy periods (March to September).

Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous cleaning experience (preferred)
  • Experience working as part of a team
  • Ability to work at pace within a team environment
  • Good time‑management skills with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in work completed
