Graphic Designer
UCL, London's Global University founded in 1826, is hiring a Graphic Designer on a fixed-term contract through July 31, 2027, joining its Brand team within the Vice‑President External Engagement group, with hybrid working currently at two days onsite per week at the King's Cross office. The role reports to the Senior Graphic Designer.

What you’ll do
- Deliver creative design solutions supporting UCL's brand, profile and reputation
- Translate the university's visual identity into engaging, accessible communications
- Contribute to the rollout of UCL's newly refreshed brand
- Develop creative concepts and storyboards through to production across campaigns, social media, motion, websites, print, events and digital signage
What you’ll need
- An experienced graphic designer with a strong portfolio
- A solid understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory and composition
- Practical experience of branding and typesetting
- An understanding of accessible design for digital and web environments including WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines
Nice to have
- Experience in a creative agency or higher education setting
