Beginning in 1878, making beehives, nearly 150 years on, we're the UK's longest serving garden buildings manufacturer and we've never stopped making things ourselves. The Role

This is a hands on, varied role at the heart of our marketing and e-commerce operation. You will keep our two websites fresh, accurate and converting, produce the creative that powers our campaigns, run our business to business communications, and help deliver the projects that move our online performance forward. You will also explore how AI can sharpen the way we work from content and creative to site optimisation and help us integrate the best of it into our day-to-day. It suits someone who enjoys variety and ownership equally comfortable building a landing page, writing a customer email, producing a campaign asset and spotting why a page is not converting. You will work closely with our specialist partners in SEO, Paid Media, CRM and development, and you will be the person who keeps the day-to-day running smoothly while helping push standards higher.

What you’ll bring

  • Solid experience in a digital marketing or e-commerce role, ideally with a direct-to-consumer or retail brand.
  • Hands-on experience managing website content through a CMS (e.g. Shopify or similar), without relying on developers.
  • Confident creating marketing assets; banners, social and email graphics, landing page visuals using design tools.
  • Strong copywriting, with an eye for accurate, on brand, audience appropriate messaging.
  • Experience building and sending email campaigns, including audience segmentation and QA.
  • Comfortable with web analytics and using data to improve pages and conversion.
  • Highly organised, able to juggle competing requests and prioritise calmly under pressure.
  • A self starter who takes ownership and gets things done with minimal supervision.

Desirable

  • Familiarity with a modern e-commerce and marketing stack (CMS, email, analytics, paid media).
  • Awareness of SEO and conversion-rate optimisation principles.
  • Experience managing more than one brand or website.
  • Basic HTML or front end confidence.

This role is full time - 38.75 hours per week Monday - Friday 8:30am-5pm.
