The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
The post holder is responsible for the assessment of care needs and thedevelopment, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care. The postholder is expected to carry out all relevant forms of care without direct supervisionand may be required to demonstrate procedures to and supervise qualified andunqualified staff. The post holder may occasionally have to take charge of a wardin the absence of the person who has continuing responsibility.
An exciting opportunity has arisen on Jefferson ward to recruit a Staff Nurse to work within the our busy Neuro-sciences Same Day admission & Discharge unit. We are looking for a registered nurse preferably with relevant experience in the clinical setting who is enthusiastic, motivated and will be part of the team in providing safe and effective care for our patients. However, newly qualified nurses will be considered ., Understanding of quality and changing practice in aclinical setting? Ability to communicate effectively in a variety of settingswith patients / families/MDT team and with people ofvarying levels of understanding.? Able to deal with questions and able to present factualinformation? Able to maintain accurate records? Able to manage own high volume, quick turnoverworkload and that of a team with supervision? Demonstrate basic IT skills and understanding? Able to prioritise workload and delegate wherenecessary? Able to develop skills and knowledge? Able to form and maintain effective workingrelationships with colleagues in health care setting
