Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Service Engineer, based in Birmingham, England, with remote work flexibility. The Service Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting equipment, providing on-site technical support, and performing field service tasks as required. The role also includes addressing customer inquiries and ensuring timely resolution of technical issues to maintain operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify and resolve technical issues effectively
  • Experience in performing field service tasks, including on-site visits and support
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and internal teams professionally
  • Proficiency in providing technical support, along with knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair procedures
  • Flexibility to work in a hybrid model, with on-site visits as required
  • Relevant technical qualification or certification is advantageous
  • Experience in surface technology, manufacturing, or a related industry is a plus
