Are you an inspirational practitioner with a genuine passion for the Humanities? Would you like the opportunity to develop your leadership skills by leading collaboratively and ‘bringing out the gift’ in your staff team? We are looking to appoint a talented and highly motivated leader who will relish the chance to lead this successful and committed department. As the Head of our Humanities faculty, you will be instrumental in developing the Geography, History and Religious Studies curricula so that they reflect the aspirations and diversity of our community, as well as inspiring students through your classroom practice.

External candidates must be able to teach and lead in Geography up to KS4. You would be joining a vibrant and talented team. Keen to build upon our existing examination successes, you will have a bold and ambitious vision of what our students can achieve. Your excellent subject knowledge and innovative classroom practice will help to inspire our students with your own love of learning.

You will be committed to leading, developing and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning at Key Stages 3 and 4 and will enjoy the challenge of ensuring that all pupils achieve their full potential.
