Finance Manager
Salary £47,500 – £52,500 depending on skills and experience.
Contractual hours: 37.5 hours. Full Time.

Main Responsibilities
- Maintain all financial systems and accounts, ensuring compliance with finance regulations and policies.
- Produce and issue financial reports and returns in a timely manner for the Principal and Governing Body.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding payments and statements.
- Take overall responsibility for the receipt, safekeeping and banking of all monies received by the Academy.
- Ensure budget holders comply with appropriate financial regulations.
- Provide financial assistance by reconciling the purchase ledger.
- Prepare the annual budget, including financial forecasting, expenditure projections and analysis of spending trends.
- Raise invoices, prepare sundry cheques for signature, check supplier statements, issue receipts and keep expenditure within budget.
- Ensure timely completion of control accounts.
- Manage income from premises lettings, funding streams and outside bodies.
