An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and organised individual to join Waltham Forest College as a High Needs Business Administrator within the Foundation Learning SEND provision. You will play a key role in delivering a high‑quality administrative service to support the effective operation of the department, ensuring all processes are completed to an appropriate high standard. This will include supporting student administration, maintaining accurate records, managing data and contributing to compliance with College policies and statutory requirements, including GDPR. Working closely with staff, students, families and external stakeholders, you will help ensure a positive and efficient experience for all, contributing to the College's outstanding provision for learners with SEND.
Qualifications
- Have experience of working in an administrative role, with the ability to manage a varied workload effectively and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate strong organisational and IT skills, including the ability to use systems for data management, reporting and communication.
- Be able to maintain accurate records and handle sensitive information with confidentiality and in line with GDPR requirements.
- Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with staff, students, families and external agencies.
- Have a strong commitment to providing high standards of customer service and supporting an inclusive learning environment for students with SEND.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team, using initiative to support the smooth running of the department.
- Hold a Level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
