Waltham Forest College Corporation is seeking individuals with relevant experience who understand the community and are committed to the highest standards of public service. As part of our succession planning and to strengthen capacity within our assurance and oversight arrangements, we are recruiting for two distinct governance roles supporting our Audit and Risk Committee.

  • Governor (Board Member) – also serving on the Audit & Risk Committee

Time commitment: The full Board meets approximately four times per academic year on Tuesday evenings and there are also two Strategic Planning days. Governors are required to sit on at least one committee; the Audit & Risk Committee meets at least once a term, virtually.

  • Co‑opted Member – Audit & Risk Committee

Time commitment: Attendance at the Audit & Risk Committee meetings (at least once per term, virtually), the two Strategic Planning days plus reasonable preparation time and occasional additional briefing as required.
