Responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for coordinating the events, activities and administration of the Enrichment Programme at Waltham Forest College, promoting, supporting and organising learner events and activities that enhance the learning experience and build employability skills.

Lead on developing student involvement through planning, organising, promoting and supporting a programme of cross-college enrichment events covering health, wellbeing, safety, community engagement, learner voice and other themes as directed.

Communicate effectively with people, work independently, plan and prioritise to meet deadlines, and provide timely reports and updates.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience as an Events Planner or Organiser and administrative experience.
  • Experience working with young people or within an Enrichment Team.
  • Knowledge of Student Union recruitment and activities, and a Youth Work qualification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Publisher, etc.
  • Flexible approach to working hours and arrangements.
