Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible and accountable for the health and safety of the specialist ward and laboratory.
  • Manage inventory, stock control, and issuing of classroom materials to support teaching staff.
  • Support small groups of learners with practical skills and progress.
  • Lead and manage the relevant areas and stock, and support the department with learners' progress, experience, and practical skills to drive participation and achievement in vocational courses.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a science-related role within industry or a science environment.
  • Experience within Further Education (FE) is desirable, with a relevant curriculum specialism.
