About the role
The Targeted Prevention Caseworker will play a key role within Waltham Forest's Community Safety Team, delivering targeted, trauma-informed support to individuals at risk of, vulnerable to, or affected by serious violence, exploitation, and harmful group dynamics. Working closely with partners including the Youth Offending Service, Probation Service, Police, and the Voluntary and Community Sector, the postholder will provide flexible outreach and detached youth work, advocacy, and early intervention. A particular focus will be supporting young people transitioning into adulthood who may experience gaps in service provision, helping them access support, build resilience, and make positive life choices. The role will adopt a safeguarding-led approach that recognises vulnerability and exploitation, promotes community safety, and strengthens coordinated responses to prevent harm.
We are a Home Office-licensed sponsor; however, for this specific role we are not able to provide Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. To be considered, you must already hold a form of UK work authorisation that does not require sponsorship.
