Selkirk GM islooking for a reliable, detail-oriented Custodian to join our team! The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment throughout the dealership, including the showroom, offices, customer areas, washrooms, and staff facilities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the facility, including;
- Washing windows, interior walls and ledges
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers
- Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors, stairs and operate floor scrubber
- Clean and disinfect washrooms and fixtures
- Clean furniture such as chairs and desks
- Perform seasonal cleaning tasks
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous cleaning/custodial experience is preferred
- Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products, and equipment.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
- Successful candidate must be a able to work on Saturdays
- Must be physically capable of performing the duties of the job, which may include, but are not limited to; standing, walking, bending, twisting and reaching for prolonged periods of times. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
