We have an exciting opportunity for an
Apprentice Butcher to join our established and growing team at our Tewkesbury shop located within the wonderful Dobbies Garden Centre.
The successful applicant will have a keen interest in working with food, creating new and innovative products whilst taking pride in delivering the finest quality products and service to our customers.
Experience working within a chef/kitchen background would be advantageous with full training provided in all aspects of butchery.
Walter Smith have been award winning Butchers since 1885 with a number of retail and farm shops throughout the UK.
We are famous for our award winning pork pies which received nationwide coverage after being crowned Supreme Champion at the Great Taste Awards, whilst regularly winning regional and national awards for our meat and related products.
The position is full time working across a 7 day rota.
Full training and support will be given on the apprenticeship which will be accredited and certificated, as well as training in the production of our award winning fine foods.
Starting pay dependant upon experience.
