  • Drive health, safety, quality and environmental standards across all construction activities.
  • Work closely with clients, consultants and project stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships.
  • Assist in project planning, logistics coordination and sequencing of works.
  • Support project reporting, risk management and progress reviews.
  • Contribute to commercial awareness and programme management activities.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the wider project with a view to assuming greater project leadership responsibilities over time.
  • Lead the future delivery of a standalone, high‑value building package.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a Senior Construction Manager or Construction Manager role delivering complex construction projects.
  • Experience working on large‑scale commercial, healthcare, science, education, technical or high‑specification developments.

  • Experience delivering science, research, laboratory or life sciences facilities would be highly advantageous, but is not essential.
  • Additional Requirements
  • Due to the location of the project, a full UK driving licence would be advantageous.
  • A shuttle service operates between the site and the nearest railway station, providing an alternative travel option for those using public transport.
  • Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
