The Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll take ownership of the commercial management of our projects, ensuring robust financial control and compliance from start to finish. Delivering high-quality outcomes across complex and innovative schemes, you’ll oversee all aspects of project finances, from preparing and reviewing cost plans and tender documentation to evaluating change events and managing risk. Working closely with clients, subcontractors, and project teams, you’ll ensure commercial objectives are achieved, budgets are maintained, and contracts, both NEC and JCT, are administered effectively.
Additionally, you will:
- Lead on cost forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis
- Manage subcontractor procurement, payments, and performance
- Produce monthly valuations and maintain the risk and opportunity registers
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Qualifications
To be considered as a Quantity Surveyor, you will have:
- A minimum of five years’ experience in quantity surveying, ideally with a main contractor
- Proven experience in managing change control on complex, high-value construction projects
- Strong knowledge of NEC and JCT contract forms
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- A degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
