Walter Lilly is a premier provider of construction and maintenance services for luxurious residential homes, iconic landmark and heritage buildings, and state-of-the-art science and higher education facilities across London and the Home Counties.
We now seek a Project Leader to join our Landmark & Heritage Division on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role
As a Project Leader, you will oversee the consistent delivery of a range of construction projects, by leading the full project lifecycle. You will develop and implement a project strategic plan and workflow, including contractual obligations and required resources. You will mitigate risk so that projects are delivered safely, within timeframes, within budget and to agreed standards.
Additionally, your role will involve:
- Ensuring correct systems are in place to issue design information
- Leading project procurement strategy and delivery
- Implementing commercial and procurement risk mitigation strategies
- Establishing and maintaining excellent communication with stakeholders
- Overseeing the environmental impact of site activities
About You
To be considered as a Project Leader, you will ideally demonstrate the following:
- Experienced leader with experience overseeing and managing people and teams
- Previous construction experience in heritage would be advantageous
- The ability to plan and maintain an appropriate site set-up for the scale of the project
- The foresight to plan, manage and coordinate all resources needed to deliver the project
- Extensive experience working in operational live environments
- Extensive temporary works, scaffolding and logistics experience
- Knowledge of safe work systems
- Strong knowledge of programme management and control
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid qualifications
