We’re searching for a part‑time Project Manager to join our team! You will be the go‑to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline, coordinating people and processes. You’ll develop detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation, and deliver every project assigned to you on time, within budget and scope.
To be a successful candidate, you will need to have proven experience in project management and the ability to lead project teams of various sizes.
Employment type: Part‑Time / Billable Contractor
Work Schedule: 20 hours weekly
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and monitoring project plans, schedules, hours, budgets and expenses
- Vendor communication and assignments
- Setting up budgeting alerts and maintaining set budget for projects
- Coordinating with team members to ensure all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules
- Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues
- Submitting project deliverables and ensuring they adhere to quality standards
- Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution
- Facilitating scope change & risk identification to ensure all parties are informed of impacts on schedule and budget
- Coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials and other documents, as needed, to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients
- Conducting post‑project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements
Requirements:
- 3+ years of industry experience managing IT deployment projects and managing teams
- 2+ years of experience managing cloud migration projects
- Previous experience working in project management or project lead role within the professional services industry
- Experience delivering on multiple projects at a time
- Strong time‑management skills
- Performance with a sense of urgency
- Experience in process modeling, documenting business requirements, and documenting workflows
- Experience with project‑management software, preferably JIRA
- Ability to deal well with ambiguous or undefined problems
- Ability to think abstractly and guide others
- PMP certification preferred
