The role involves bringing your expertise in Beauty and Fashion to Disney. It is based 4 days a week in the office with one day working from home.
The Senior Licensing Sales Manager will oversee key licensing partnerships with leading EMEA retailers and suppliers. Covering health & beauty categories, you will develop and execute strategies to maximize sales, revenue, and reach diverse consumer demographics. Success depends on relationships, both internally and externally. You will manage engagement, partnerships, and joint business planning with licensees, negotiate contracts, and drive strategic growth in licensing sales across EMEA. You will apply creativity, commercial insight, and category knowledge, leveraging digital, social, and traditional marketing trends to develop effective strategies. Agility in identifying new opportunities and acting swiftly is essential.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies for the Beauty category aligned with regional plans, including new business initiatives for sub-categories and franchises.
- Manage annual plans and quarterly forecasts, setting licensee objectives to promote growth in collaboration with marketing, product development, and finance teams.
- Build and nurture relationships with licensees, managing joint business planning and engagement efforts.
- Assess and optimize the licensee portfolio to support category growth.
- Negotiate contracts with licensees and distributors to maximize Disney royalty revenue, communicating key information to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with creative, marketing, and product teams to support product sales.
- Coordinate the ILS process between suppliers and Disney teams.
- Identify and secure new licensees to significantly enhance category growth.
- Maintain strong communication with Disney market teams to align strategies and share best practices.
- Engage with US, LATAM, and APAC counterparts to coordinate initiatives and licensee relationships.
- Experience in buying, product development, merchandising, or commercial roles within fashion or health & beauty sectors, with established industry contacts.
- Proven ability to build relationships, lead change, and collaborate across departments to meet financial targets.
- Strong data analysis skills and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent English communication skills; proficiency in other European languages is advantageous.
- Good understanding of digital, social, and brick-and-mortar marketing.
- Strategic problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
- Effective influencing skills to gain buy-in at all organizational levels.
