Ready to make magic? We’re hiring for our 12-month undergraduate placement scheme. As a Walt Disney Imagineer, you will form part of the recently established Walt Disney Imagineering UK office. During your placement, you will be exposed to two disciplines: Project Management and Show, which refers to the discipline focused on the creative design and technical delivery of Imagineering projects - spending 6 months in each area.
Walt Disney Imagineering is the creative force that imagines, designs, and brings to life all Disney theme parks, resorts, attractions, and cruise ships worldwide. Working across a spectrum of disciplines that range from creative and conceptual to scientific and technical, Imagineers blend an innovative mixture of storytelling, art, science, and technology to create immersive experiences, memorable destinations, and innovative entertainment for families around the globe. This role will require you to be onsite 4 days a week, with opportunities for short periods of travel.
What You Will Do
- Provide support to the process of delivering new-build Disney Cruise Line ships
- Support drawing reviews and review design standards
- Prepare and track concept development through technical integration and on-site delivery
- Work collaboratively to support project leaders, creative teams and technical specialists
- Track project documentation, ensure quality deliverables align with budget
- Ensuring projects adhere to creative and engineering standards
- Support ideation, research, and documentation of creative concepts
- Take ownership of tasks such as meeting minutes, status update reports, progress tracking using established tools
Eligibility
- Must be a second-year undergraduate student on a placement year course returning to study in Autumn 2027
- Must have the right to work in the UK already in place
- Available to start working full time from June 2026
