We are seeking Ferag and Bindery Operators to join a thriving company within the print industry based in Bicester, Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the running of the Ferag stitching lines to produce products to the highest quality and as efficiently as the job and machinery will permit.
Key responsibilities:
- Set up machinery to produce job in line with job bag instructions
- Heading your team successfully to produce high quality products
- Fulfil housekeeping and maintenance requirements on a daily basis
- Ensure all work is correctly labelled and quarantined procedures are adhered to
- Produce completed jobs on time keeping to tight deadlines and in line with despatch instruction
- Ensure Company Health, safety and environmental procedures are followed
Has had previous experience working on ferag machines. Good communication skills are essential. 4 on 4 off shift pattern. Strong numeracy and literacy skills are essential. Applicants will also need to demonstrate the necessary flexibility, enthusiasm and drive to work within a busy environment.
