This isn't a boring job – you'll be changing lives with care, supporting day‑to‑day living and joining in activities like bowling, swimming, walks and community outings. You don't need prior experience to join as a Support Worker. We provide all the training and ongoing support you’ll need.
You will support three gentlemen with learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy and decreased mobility. Positive behaviour support and person‑centred approaches will be used to promote independence while ensuring dignity, equality, diversity and effective communication.
As the organisation moves to paperless documentation, a basic knowledge of IT systems will be beneficial. Willingness to travel to support in other services for Walsingham in Hertfordshire is required.
Eligibility
This role is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship under current UK Home Office rules, as it does not meet the required salary or skill level criteria. Candidates who already have a valid right to work in the UK through other immigration routes or permissions must meet the minimum eligibility of having at least two years remaining on their current visa.
