Role Overview

As a valued member of our team, each Support Worker is there to help deliver the quality-of-life people with disabilities deserve. By doing so, the support worker will be supporting our service users to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities

  • Help to ensure that Walsingham Support's care is of high quality and person-centred.
  • Deliver quality-of-life support tailored to the needs of each individual.
  • Ensure a high quality and well-maintained environment for those we support.
  • Work from a care plan, providing help with day-to-day living tasks. This might include personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, providing emotional support, social interaction and visits to activities in their communities.

Work Environment

Our service Keepers Cottage is an older style building set within the countryside with extensive grounds and stunning views. You will be supporting 8 individuals with Learning Disabilities, aged between 35 to 60. The gardens have a large patio area where our residents can sit and enjoy the sunshine. On the site, there is also our outdoor gym facility where the residents can go to exercise. The garden also has a log cabin which has a TV, karaoke machine, air hockey and pool table to entertain our residents all year round.
