Support Worker

Key Responsibilities

  • Support people with learning disabilities with personal care, cooking and household tasks.
  • Provide companionship, encouragement and emotional support.
  • Help people build independence, friendships and new skills.
  • Participate in activities, hobbies and community events such as bowling, swimming, walks, and outings.

Working Hours & Rota

37.5 hours per week; shift patterns vary. Typical shifts: 07:00‑15:00, 15:00‑22:00, and Sleep‑in shifts (22:00‑07:00). Weekend work required with at least one weekend off in four.
