As a Supported Living Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of our supported living services.
You will ensure that high-quality care is provided to our residents in a person-centered and holistic manner.
Your role will involve
- Leading, managing, and developing a team of support staff.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Overseeing care plans and risk assessments to meet the individual needs of each resident.
- Building strong relationships with residents, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Managing budgets and resources efficiently.

Leadership & Management
- Provide strong leadership to your team, ensuring staff are well-supported and motivated.
- Conduct regular supervisions, appraisals, and training sessions.
Quality Assurance
- Maintain high standards of care, ensuring services comply with CQC regulations and other relevant frameworks.
Person-Centered Care
- Develop and implement personalized care plans that reflect the individual needs, preferences, and goals of each resident.
Communication
- Foster effective communication within the team, with residents, families, and external professionals.
Safeguarding
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all residents, implementing safeguarding policies and procedures effectively.
- Oversee the financial aspects of the service, including budgeting, invoicing, and resource allocation.
- Supported Living Manager Qualifications & Experience
- A minimum of 1 years experience in a similar role within social care.
- A relevant qualification in Health & Social Care. Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent understanding of autism, mental health issues, and learning disabilities.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion.
- Previous experience in a supported living environment.

This is a wonderfully varied role where you will build genuine relationships with the people you care for and your staff team.
About the role
The role is split between two homes a 5-10 min walk apart and is part admin part being on rota.
The two homes are part of an area of 7 supported living homes which an area manager oversees and holds the CQC registration for.
- We are looking for a strong leader to lead both teams
- 4 people live at
- Lyndhurst and 5 people live at
- Waverley
. Both homes are full. Both are supported living with a mix of male and female.
People living in both homes have learning disabilities, some are autistic or have Downs. And are being supported with living the best lives possible
Rota
The manager may on occasion need to cover sleep in shifts. There is one sleep in at each home
The manager will work half their hours as admin between the two homes and half their hours on rota between the two homes. so may spend 2 days in one home and 3 days in the other home one week and vice versa the other week.
Shifts are a mixture of early, late, long days and sleeps.
