Support Worker - Ford Road

About Ford Road
Ford Road is a welcoming service supporting two gentlemen who receive 24-hour, 1:1 support tailored to their individual needs.
Both gentlemen have complex needs which are well managed and under control, and they enjoy building positive relationships with the staff who support them.
One gentleman has autism and a mild learning disability and uses verbal communication. The second gentleman also uses verbal communication, although he has a speech impairment alongside a mild learning disability.
Both gentlemen have a great sense of humour and love having a laugh with staff. They particularly enjoy telling jokes and having friendly banter, so someone who can enjoy their humour and build a warm, positive relationship with them would be a great fit for the service.
About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will provide 1:1 support, helping each individual to live as independently as possible while ensuring their needs are met in a person-centred way.
One of the gentlemen has access to a mobility car, while the other does not.
You will work as part of a supportive team, helping to create a positive environment where the gentlemen can enjoy their routines, interests and relationships.
Shift Pattern
- 37.5 hours per week
- Day shifts: 8:00am - 8:00pm
- 24-hour support service
