Field Service Engineer

Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Field Technician / Installation Engineer needed to join a manufacturer of packaging machinery equipment.

The Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Field Technician / Installation Engineer will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, training, maintenance, and repair of machinery at customer sites.

The Successful Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Field Technician / Installation Engineer will be willing to travel internationally and have an electro-mechanical background and experience working with pharmaceutical packaging systems.

Package:

1. £35,000 – £45,000
2. Overtime/International pay
3. Company Car
4. Pension

The Role:

1. The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for installation, commissioning, training, maintenance, and repair of machinery at customer sites.
2. Liaise with various engineering departments.
3. Follow detailed schematics/drawings.
4. Provide technical support to customers.
5. Work independently and as part of the team to meet project delivery dates.
6. Regular International travel.

Requirements:

1. Prior experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Field Technician / Installation Engineer or similar position.
2. Have an electro-mechanical background and experience working with pharmaceutical packaging systems (electrical bias preferred).
3. Experience with Turnkey projects.
4. NVQ or higher preferred but not required.
5. Willing to travel internationally regularly.
6. Commutable to Worcester.
