We are excited to recruit compassionate, reliable and person-centred Support Workers to join a brand-new support package for a female individual living in her own home. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference by providing dedicated 1:1 support to a woman with autism and anxiety. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping her maintain a structured, stable environment that promotes her wellbeing, independence and quality of life.
About the Role: The individual thrives on routine and predictability, and consistency is essential to her support. Changes to established routines can be a significant trigger for anxiety, so we are looking for someone who is patient, dependable and able to provide calm, consistent support.
You will be working on a 1:1 basis, supporting the individual to manage daily routines, access activities, maintain her home environment and achieve her personal goals while promoting choice and independence.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Providing high-quality, person-centred support tailored to individual needs.
- Maintaining established routines and supporting a structured daily schedule.
- Building a trusting and positive relationship with the individual and family members.
- Supporting with daily living tasks and community activities.
- Promoting independence, wellbeing and emotional reassurance.
- Working professionally and collaboratively with family members and other professionals involved in the individual's support.
Shift Patterns: A variety of day shifts are available, including: 08:00 - 20:00, 08:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 20:00. This female support worker role involves lone working as the individual receives dedicated 1:1 support within her own home.
