We are looking for an experienced and motivated Area Manager to join our team on a fixed-term maternity cover basis. This is a key leadership role overseeing multiple supported living services and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care. You will be responsible for overseeing 8 Supported Living services, supporting 34 individuals with their own tenancies. The people we support have a range of needs including learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and some complex health needs. This is a Local Authority contracted service and includes CQC registered personal care, delivering approximately 3,000 hours of care per week. You will provide leadership and support to 7 Supported Living Managers, ensuring services are compliant, effective, and aligned with organisational values and standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide leadership and line management to Supported Living Managers
- Ensure high-quality, safe, and person-centred care delivery
- Maintain compliance with CQC standards and contractual requirements
- Monitor service performance and drive continuous improvement
- Participate in the on-call rota (approximately 1 week in 5)
- Work flexibly to meet business needs (occasional weekends may be required)
WORKING PATTERN
- Typically Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Flexibility required depending on service needs
- No sleep-ins required
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Full UK manual driving licence
- Access to a vehicle for work purposes
- Proven experience in managing multiple services within health and social care
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and supported living services
- Experience supporting individuals with complex needs
