Team members work closely with a diverse patient population, addressing both routine and complex podiatric needs. The practice values professionalism, clinical excellence, and compassionate service, creating a supportive environment for both patients and staff.
Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Podiatrist role based in Birmingham. The Podiatrist will assess, diagnose, and treat conditions affecting the foot and lower limb, including musculoskeletal issues, skin and nail pathologies, and diabetic foot complications. Daily responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, performing routine and advanced podiatric treatments, prescribing and managing orthotic devices, and documenting clinical findings accurately. The role also involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals when appropriate, providing patient education on foot health and preventive care, and contributing to the maintenance of high clinical and service standards within the practice.
The job role offers £29k - £49k pro rata depending in experience and suitability.
Plus is part time ir full time.
The iob role is temporary to cover maternity leave with a view to permanent hours after.
Qualifications
- Clinical expertise in Podiatry and Medicine relevant to foot and lower limb care
- Knowledge of Biomechanics and experience with Orthotics prescription and management
- Competence in assessing and managing Diabetes-related foot conditions
- Recognized degree in Podiatry and eligibility for relevant professional registration/licensure
- Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment and maintain accurate clinical records
- Previous clinical experience in a podiatry or similar healthcare setting is beneficial
- You shoukd be HCPC registered in Podiatry
