You will provide technical leadership across structural engineering activities, oversee laboratory-based testing programmes, and act as a trusted technical authority for clients, internal teams and industry stakeholders.

  • Chartered Structural Engineer with strong technical capability
  • Leadership experience and the confidence to manage complex structural engineering and testing programmes
  • Experience leading complex structural engineering, testing and assurance activities
  • Ability to produce and review high-quality technical reports, proposals and client documentation
  • Knowledge of UK construction methods, materials and building systems
  • Experience in structural inspection, assessment and fire performance
  • Exposure to structural fire design and assessment
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and FEA modelling
  • Strong commercial awareness and client-facing communication skills

As Lead Structural Engineer, you will take responsibility for the delivery and development of high-quality structural engineering services, supporting technical excellence, safe delivery and continued growth within the Structural Technology team.

  • Leading and managing structural engineering activities and technical services
  • Overseeing projects to ensure compliance with relevant BS and EN standards
  • Managing laboratory-based testing activities to ensure safe, robust and reliable outcomes
  • Coordinating engineers, technicians and laboratory staff to deliver projects efficiently
