About the Opportunity
Our client is a fast-growing maritime technology business at the forefront of sustainable shipping, developing innovative wind-assisted propulsion systems that help commercial vessels reduce fuel consumption and emissions. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to join a growing business and help deliver projects from concept through to installation and operation. It is well suited to someone with a few years of relevant experience who brings strong technical understanding, good stakeholder and relationship management skills, and the potential to grow with the business. This is not a traditional reporting role. The focus is on driving delivery, coordinating work across engineers, suppliers, and shipyards, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget.
Key Requirements
- You will be degree or technically qualified in engineering, marine, manufacturing, or a similar field, with relevant experience in project management, project coordination, engineering, or a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical understanding and the ability to work credibly with engineering teams.
- Good stakeholder management and strong relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to help deliver projects on time and on budget.
- Strong organisational ability and structured thinking.

Role & Responsibilities
As Project Manager, you will help ensure projects move forward at pace, with clear actions, strong coordination, and effective communication across all stakeholders, while maintaining focus on time, cost, and delivery. Responsibilities will include:
- Build simple, practical project plans from initial concepts.
- Coordinate engineering, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver milestones.
- Maintain clear task lists and ensure actions are closed quickly.
- Identify risks early and escalate issues where needed.
- Help ensure projects progress and take initiative on direction.
- Prepare timelines, budgets, and progress updates.
- Maintain project documentation and reporting.
- Coordinate subcontract manufacturers, support providers, and suppliers.
