Key Requirements
- We are seeking an experienced Legal Executive, Solicitor, or Licensed Conveyancer with a strong background in residential property law, particularly new build purchases.
- A proven track record of managing complex residential conveyancing cases.
- Extensive experience in new build property transactions.
- Strong management and supervisory skills, with the ability to support and mentor junior team members.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ambition and capability to develop and grow a branch office.
- Confidence in acting as the lead fee-earner for the location, with the firm’s backing to build a team around them.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- A self-motivated and proactive approach to managing caseloads.
- A flexible attitude and willingness to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality client service.
Role & Responsibilities
- You will join one of the most respected and well-established Conveyancing Teams in the Lincolnshire, Yorkshire, and East Midlands regions.
- Take ownership of a diverse conveyancing caseload, including sales, purchases, leaseholds, and new build properties.
- Act as the foundational hire for this office location, with full support from the firm to grow a successful branch.
- Deliver a smooth and efficient client journey through proactive communication and excellent legal service.
- Utilise streamlined systems and collaborate with experienced colleagues to manage transactions effectively.
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, developers, agents, and mortgage lenders.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, as well as firm policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of team performance and client satisfaction.
- Play a key role in shaping the future growth of the office, with the opportunity to help recruit and lead new team members as the branch expands.
- Where appropriate, supervise junior team members, delegating tasks and supporting their development.
