About the Opportunity

Our client is a fast-growing international technology business providing SaaS-based driver safety, fleet performance, and operational intelligence solutions to transport and commercial fleet operators. The company has already achieved significant success in the UK, where its technology has been widely adopted across transport and fleet operations. The next stage of growth is focused on expanding this success across selected European markets, targeting public transport, fleet management, and wider commercial fleet customers. This is a high-impact individual contributor sales hunter role for someone who can open new markets, build pipeline from scratch, and win new customers across Europe. It would suit a commercially driven SaaS sales professional who has worked in a smaller or scaling technology company, rather than someone reliant on a large enterprise sales infrastructure.

Key Requirements

  • You will be a proven SaaS sales hunter with strong experience selling across Europe and a clear track record of opening new markets, building pipeline, and closing new business for a smaller or high-growth technology company.
  • You will bring:
    • 5+ years B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally gained in a smaller or scaling technology business
    • Proven experience selling into European markets from a UK base
    • Strong track record of new business development, market penetration, and full-cycle sales
    • Experience selling business applications, software platforms, or technology-led solutions
    • Ability to sell consultatively, explain value, and position a SaaS platform to operational and commercial stakeholders
    • Background working in a smaller company environment, where success depends on hands-on prospecting, initiative, and ownership
    • Strong hunter mentality, with the ability to create opportunities rather than simply manage inbound demand
    • Experience closing meaningful SaaS deals, ideally in the £/$100K-500K ARR range
    • Ability to work independently across multiple countries, cultures, and sales cycles
    • Must be based in the London area
    • Experience selling into transportation, fleet, mobility, telematics, driver safety, public transport, or commercial fleet environments would be a strong advantage

This role is not suited to a traditional enterprise salesperson from a large software vendor who has relied on an established brand, large internal team, or mature market presence.

Role & Responsibilities

As Regional Sales Manager, EMEA, you will be responsible for driving new customer acquisition across Europe, with a particular focus on expanding the company’s footprint beyond its established UK market presence. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing a targeted European new business sales strategy
  • Identifying and penetrating new geographic markets across EMEA
  • Building pipeline from scratch through direct outreach, networking, events, referrals, and partner activity
  • Selling SaaS-based driver safety, fleet performance, and operational intelligence solutions
  • Targeting public transport operators, fleet management companies, and wider commercial fleet customers
  • Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through to close
  • Engaging with senior stakeholders across operations, fleet, safety, commercial, and executive teams
  • Positioning the value of real-time driver insight, safety improvement, operational efficiency, and measurable ROI
  • Working closely with senior sales leadership, marketing, product, and customer teams
  • Providing market feedback to help shape regional go-to-market strategy
  • Maintaining accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM activity
  • Travelling across Europe as needed to meet customers, prospects, and partners

Why Join?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a scaling technology company with a proven product, strong UK market validation, and major European growth ambitions. The business has already built a strong position in the UK and is now looking for a high-performing sales hunter who can help replicate that success across Europe. You will have the opportunity to make a visible commercial impact, build new markets, and grow with a company offering technology that improves driver safety, reduces incidents, supports fleet efficiency, and helps transport operators achieve safer and more sustainable operations. For the right person, this role offers significant ownership, strong earning potential, and future progression as the EMEA region continues to scale.
