Senior Value Strategy ConsultantEnterprise SoftwareLocation: London hybrid, office based 3 days per weekSalary: Β£120-125K basic with Β£160-165K OTE and excellent benefits packageAbout the OpportunityOur client is a successful global enterprise software business seeking a Senior Value Strategy Consultant to help enterprise customers understand and quantify the commercial value of investing in its solutions.
Working closely with Sales, Solution Consulting and senior customer stakeholders, you will lead value discovery, develop compelling business cases and present evidence-based recommendations to budget owners and decision-makers.
This is a senior individual-contributor role and the first dedicated position of its kind in Europe, focused on translating technology capabilities into measurable commercial, operational and strategic outcomes.
Key RequirementsYou will be an experienced business value, value consulting or value engineering professional combining strong commercial analysis with curiosity, structured discovery and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders. Key experience will include: Around 8-10 years' relevant professional experience , ideally including 5+ years in value consulting or value engineeringCandidates from Sales Engineering, Solution Consulting or Customer Success may be considered with around 3+ years' dedicated value consulting experienceExperience supporting complex enterprise B2B technology sales , ideally within software, SaaS, cloud, developer technology, cybersecurity or a related environmentProven ability to develop business cases and financial models using ROI, TCO, NPV, payback period, productivity gains and risk reductionStrong analytical and spreadsheet skills, including the ability to build credible value cases where customer data is incompleteExcellent discovery and questioning skills to identify priorities, pain points, processes and measurable value driversExperience mapping current and future-state processes to demonstrate the impact of adopting a solutionConfidence presenting analysis to budget owners, senior executives and technical stakeholdersStrong workshop facilitation, commercial storytelling and presentation skillsHighly analytical, organised and process-orientedExperience working across complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cyclesBachelor's degree or equivalent; an MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification would be advantageousRole & ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Value Strategy Consultant , you will partner with enterprise sales teams and customer stakeholders to build compelling, evidence-based justification for investing in the company's solutions.

Leading value discovery discussions and workshops throughout enterprise sales cyclesDeveloping persuasive business cases and financial value modelsQuantifying ROI, TCO, NPV, payback, productivity improvements, risk reduction and other commercial outcomesApplying credible assumptions and benchmarks where customer data is limitedMapping current-state and future-state processes to demonstrate the impact of changePresenting findings and recommendations to senior customer stakeholders and budget ownersTranslating complex analysis into a clear commercial storyEvaluating the economics of SaaS and customer-managed deployment modelsDeveloping value-selling tools, templates and methodologiesCoaching sales teams on business-value discovery and customer engagementCollaborating with Sales, Solution Consulting, Product and Marketing to strengthen value propositionsResearching relevant industry benchmarks and market developments to support customer analysisWhy Join?
