Our client is a leading aerospace manufacturing business producing high-precision aircraft control components, including servo valves used within complex hydraulic control systems.
This is a senior Product Engineering role focused on supporting production, assembly and test operations for specialist aerospace hardware. The environment is low-volume, high-precision and tolerance-critical, requiring strong first-principles engineering judgement, deep mechanical and hydraulic knowledge, and the ability to solve complex technical issues at root cause.

You will be an experienced Senior Product Engineer, Product Support Engineer, Manufacturing Support Engineer, Hydraulics Engineer or similar, with strong experience in complex mechanical, hydraulic or aerospace manufacturing environments.
- Deep hydraulics knowledge, ideally involving servo valves, actuators, aircraft control systems or fluid control products
- Experience investigating pressure, performance, product or test failure issues
- Strong root cause analysis capability, with a focus on preventative action rather than short-term fixes
- Experience supporting assembly, test, production and product integrity investigations
- Broad understanding of mechanical, hydraulic and electronic testing principles
- Proficiency with tools such as Minitab, Microsoft Project and Excel
- Eligibility to obtain UK security clearance may be required
As Senior Product Engineer - Operations Support, you will act as a senior technical focal point for complex production, assembly and test issues across a portfolio of aerospace product ranges.
- Investigating complex assembly, hydraulic performance and test failures
- Applying structured root cause analysis to identify issues and prevent recurrence
- Analysing production and test data to improve quality, yield, cost and efficiency
- Developing and approving assembly standards, test procedures and technical documentation
- Liaising with production, quality, supply chain, test teams, suppliers and customers
