DevSecOps Solution Engineer
Location: London, UK (Hybrid)

They are now seeking a DevSecOps Solution Engineer to join their growing Solutions Engineering team in London.
Key Requirements
We are looking for a DevSecOps specialist with strong technical capabilities, client-facing experience, and deep understanding of software security across the SDLC. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of hands-on implementation skills, solution evangelism, and the ability to drive Proof of Concept engagements.
Must-have skills and experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in DevSecOps, security architecture, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of security principles, vulnerability management, and compliance standards in the context of DevOps
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD, agile development, and cloud infrastructure
- Familiarity with common DevOps and security tools, including:
- CI servers, SCM, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes
- Security tools such as Snyk, Sonatype, Blackduck
- Technical proficiency in tools such as Artifactory, Chef/Ansible, Gradle, npm
- Proven success in delivering POCs and supporting pre-sales engagements
- Experience with hybrid environments (on-premise and SaaS-based solutions)
- Familiarity with data centre components (networking, storage, compute, high availability, DR)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable:
- Experience in technical sales or solutions engineering
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Bachelor’s or higher)
Role & Responsibilities
As a DevSecOps Solution Engineer, you will lead client engagements from a security perspective, helping organisations integrate and optimise secure software delivery pipelines. You will serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers while collaborating with internal teams to refine and promote security solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Proof of Concept Delivery
- Lead hands-on POCs showcasing security capabilities
- Provide ongoing technical assistance during implementation
- Manage timelines and expectations through project coordination
- Security Guidance & Best Practice
- Act as subject matter expert for DevSecOps security
- Develop and maintain standardisation guides, playbooks, and implementation documents
- Build a repository of technical best practices
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Support sales teams in shaping security-focused solutions
- Align with R&D, product, and marketing to ensure consistency of vision and messaging
- Collaborate with Customer Success to support onboarding and adoption
- Enablement & Training
- Deliver internal and external training sessions
- Build and maintain a demo repository for presentations and workshops
- Design and deliver enablement tools (e.g., skills matrices, technical guides)
- Market Intelligence
- Stay up to date with emerging security trends and compliance regulations
- Conduct competitive analysis and share insights with product teams
- Customer Engagement
- Represent Our client in customer meetings, webinars, and industry events
- Develop lasting relationships with key technical and business stakeholders
- Act as a trusted advisor on integrating security into DevOps pipelines
