This is an exciting opportunity to join our expanding team. The role is ideal for an individual with finance experience or who has completed training such as their AAT and are looking to put this into practice. A dedication of 30 hours or full time is required, which must include Friday as a working day.
Main duties of the job:
- Provide finance support to OurNet Health Services Ltd and the Walsall Primary Care Networks (PCNs).
- Maintain an efficient and accurate finance function within the business.
- Assist with reconciling finance accounts.
- Maintain accurate spreadsheets.
- Prepare PCN accounts and reports.
- Reconcile company bank transactions.
- Run the payroll for over 100 staff members.
- Reconcile locum clinicians and providers hours and payments.
- Work closely with the Business Manager and Operations Manager.
- Credit control.
- Calculate practice allocations.
- Submit funding requests to meet deadlines.
- Liaise with lead PCN practices, Black Country ICB colleagues and other stakeholders.
- Attend regular meetings as and when required, including practice finance meetings.
- Help to develop and maintain effective communication within the organisation.
- Collate statistics and assist in preparing reports.
- Ensure the compliance and safe storage of company data.
- Any other ad hoc duties.

Person Specification:
- 2 years finance experience.
- Numerate and technically competent.
- Competent on Excel and Microsoft applications.
- Basic knowledge of accountancy/bookkeeping.
- Diligent with strong attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills and ability to work to, and sometimes implement own processes.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Able to prioritise workload.
- 2 years NHS experience.
- An understanding of PCNs.
- Experience of identifying and interpreting policies.
- Hold a full driving licence.
- Flexible working if and when required.
