Roofers, we are now hiring! Build your career with us. Are you an experienced Roofer who takes pride in doing the job properly the first time? At whg, we’re looking for a skilled Roofer to join our Home Maintenance Services team, helping us maintain and improve thousands of homes across our communities. Every day is different from repairing storm damage and renewing roofs to completing planned maintenance that makes a real difference to our customers’ homes.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Repairs and renewals to pitched and flat roofs
  • Tiling, slating and felting
  • Leadwork
  • Guttering, fascias and soffits
  • Pointing, concreting and other associated wet trades
  • Diagnosing roofing issues and carrying out pre-inspections
  • Working safely, efficiently and to a high standard every time

You’ll manage your own daily workload using handheld technology, travel between jobs in a whg vehicle, maintain your tools and van stock, and ensure every property is left clean, safe and tidy. Most importantly, you’ll provide a great experience for our customers by communicating professionally and treating every home with respect.
