Bricklayer/ Roofer (Dual Role)
Salary: £39,130 – £41,327 per annum plus van, tools, PPE and the opportunity to earn more with overtime and on call
Location: Walsall, West Midlands
Contract: Full Time, Permanent, 37 hours per week

At whg, our skilled trade colleagues keep homes safe, warm and welcoming. We are currently seeking a talented Bricklayer/ Roofer to join our team. In this dual role, you\’ll enjoy steady local work, be provided with a company vehicle and have power tools provided. Your skill and knowledge will directly improve the lives of thousands of families across the West Midlands.
You\’ll take on a varied mix of bricklaying and roofing repairs as a member of the Housing Maintenance Service team ranging from minor repairs to larger more complex maintenance work. Your efficiency, attention to detail and focus on improving customer outcomes, will ensure repairs are completed right at the first opportunity.
As this is a dual role, we are ideally looking for someone with a City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in both Bricklaying and Roofing. Alternatively, you may hold an NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying and bring substantial experience in pitched and flat roofing maintenance and repair.
