We have an exciting opportunity in our Legal Team for an experienced Housing Solicitor to support and advise on housing related matters, housing condition claims and associated applications and claims. The ideal candidate will have experience of legal case management relating to housing matters eg tenancy breaches, anti-social behaviour and housing condition claims. You’ll support the delivery of legal services to whg by providing advice and representation across a range of housing litigation matters. Working closely with the Housing Litigation Manager and wider Legal team, you’ll manage your own caseload while contributing to a collaborative, supportive environment.
Main job responsibilities:
- Managing a varied caseload of housing management matters including disrepair, rent possession, injunctions, tenancy succession and neighbourhood issues
- Preparing cases for court, drafting pleadings, witness statements and legal documentation
- Representing whg in hearings across the County Court
