We are looking for an experienced Building Surveyor, to work as part of a professional team to deliver Surveying services and carry out property inspections whilst delivering excellent customer service, record keeping and communication with other teams.
You will be carrying out a range of surveying functions, so you will need to have an awareness of damp, fire safety, asbestos, energy efficiency, as well as knowledge of housing disrepair and environmental health legislation.
You will also be expected to prepare schedules of work, adhere to control of contractors procedure and produce relevant reports.
Main job responsibilities:
- Carry out general building surveying inspections and defect diagnosis completing actions and making recommendations as required, ensuring they are in accordance with the regulatory requirements of building notices, planning applications and housing standards referrals.
- Identify breaches of S11 of the Landlord.
