We are seeking a proactive and adaptable individual to manage a school dining centre, ensuring the delivery of high‑quality catering services in a safe and hygienic environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing kitchen operations and service delivery.
  • Managing food and supply orders.
  • Maintaining overall service standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety and health and safety legislation.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Good understanding of food hygiene; must hold Essential Food Hygiene Certificate (or be willing to study upon appointment).
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Completion of a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check may be required.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally with customers in accurate spoken English as required by the Government's Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers.

Work Details:

  • Location: The Nest (Rowley Robins), Darlaston
  • Hours per week: 20 (Mon‑Fri 09:45‑13:45 with flexibility within these hours)
  • Term time only (38 weeks per year)
  • Salary: G4 £13.68‑£14.58 per hour
