We are looking for a motivated Junior Sister/Charge Nurse to join our friendly team in Walsall. We want an enthusiastic practitioner with excellent assessment and communication skills, eager to develop their clinical neonatal and leadership skills. In return you will be supported by our skilled senior nursing and medical team. You will be passionate about improving neonatal care and the experience of babies and their families in the neonatal unit, support staff to maintain high standards of clinical care, act as a role model, and take charge of the unit. You would require significant post‑QIS certification experience.

Main Duties

  • Able to demonstrate effective clinical skills of a high quality, looking after special, high‑dependency and intensive care babies.
  • Demonstrate professional expertise and knowledge acquired through post registration academic study and clinical, leadership and management development.
  • Managerial responsibility for the Neonatal Unit, including supervision of staff and students, maintaining a visible presence and providing clear focus for effective clinical leadership.

  • Degree/Master’s in Nursing studies / Neonatal studies or equivalent
  • Current NMC registration
