G10: £47,181 – £50,269 per annum.

Walsall Council seeks an Early Years Teacher Advisor to lead and support the development of quality early years education across the borough, with a focus on narrowing educational gaps and promoting school readiness.

The Early Years Teacher Advisor will play a vital role in strengthening early childhood development and educational outcomes for children in Walsall. By working collaboratively with schools, settings, and family hubs, you will ensure high-quality provision and support for early years practitioners. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving improvement, analysing data, and providing targeted support to ensure every child receives an excellent start in their educational journey.

You must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status with a formal teaching qualification.
  • Experience in a senior school role, leading and managing EYFS delivery.
